Nagoya Samurai Team

Hi! This is my third blog!!
This time, I’m going to talk about a kind of strange association in Nagoya!
They are called “An entertaining Nagoya Samurai team”! They’re composed of people who were fired from their jobs, for celebrate with tycoons came to Nagoya around the 17th century. They are including Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Tokugawa Ieyasu.
That team put on those Samurai’s dresses and almost perfect identified with Oda, Toyotomi and Hidenori. They fascinated with spectators. It’ll be their new job!!
According to the Chunichi Web, They perform next to Nagoya Castle and they’re really good-looking!! So, almost all the spectators were women who wanted to see them! It’s a funny story, isn’t it?
They brought some occasions for young generation which come to Nagoya Castle and interested in Japanese old culture! It’s good for Japan to inherit our culture!!
They are going to perform the samurai dance through Japan.

  2. Maybe the real purpose of the group is to have a legal excuse for owning samurai swords so that they can go and attack the bosses who fired them? I wouldn't trust these guys......

  3. Samurai dancing is a very interesting idea. Children can enjoy the dance show and learn a history a little. By the way, who is Hidenori? I'm curious.
